Last week one of our senior teachers met up for a meal with alumnae from our first batch of SSC graduates. Some of these dear students had been with Gyanankur since it was a one-room school with 20 students, no toilet and one hardworking teacher. They told us of their current situation which included a girl studying Medicine in Russia, a young man trading on the stock market, one with a Pharmacy degree and so on. It was wonderful to hear their dreams and plans for the future and we are humbled by the small part we could play in their journey.
